| Congratulations to Catherine U. for winning the $50 Amazon gift card. Susan and Shuna were very close and we thank them for their efforts. We wished that we had two more cards to give away! Thanks also to everyone who worked hard to raise extra funds the final week before the walk. Our total was increased substantially! Remember, you have until Nov. 1 to earn extra perks. Over the years, the team has raised more than $2 million — that’s about 66% of the total raised this year by all teams: $3.2 million! Thank you, too, for the many walkers who trekked 30 kms this year in honour of Barb’s 30th walk. Barb has joined annual cancer walks in Montreal, Calgary, Halifax, Ottawa, Vancouver and Toronto to support Canada’s cancer care centres. |
