Looking forward: Make 2022 the best year yet!

Above: Twenty butterflies marking each annual walk in Toronto to benefit the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre!

Plans are underway for a really special celebration Sept.10-12, 2022!  We hope that you will plan now to be in Toronto that weekend.  Please register to join Butterfly of Hope if you haven’t already. We’ll arrange a team get together for that weekend as well so that we can all get reacquainted and meet new Butterflies.
Earn Extra Walker Perks
By now you should have received the perks that you won from the walk in September, and backpacks are being sent as we write this. Please let us know if you are still missing perks by the end of November.

Want to earn more perks? You have until Mon., Nov. 1 to submit additional funds to the 2021 Walk.  Let us know if you need assistance to make this happen.

Rebuild Our Kaleidoscope

We’ve read that a gathering of butterflies is a kaleidoscope.

Your friends and family members have been hearing about this fundraising and awareness-building cancer walk for as many years as you have been doing it.  This would be a great time to have one or two of them join the team in 2022.  Have them start thinking about it.

Those who register by Wed., Nov. 1, 2021, enjoy an early bird rate of $20. That’s $30 off the regular price!

Plus, walkers who self-donate or raise $100 before Wed., Nov. 1, 2021 earn a chance to WIN* four Air Canada tickets. *View full terms and conditions here.

Thank You for Your Hard Work and Dedication
Congratulations to Catherine U. for winning the $50 Amazon gift card. Susan and Shuna were very close and we thank them for their efforts. We wished that we had two more cards to give away! Thanks also to everyone who worked hard to raise extra funds the final week before the walk. Our total was increased substantially!

Remember, you have until Nov. 1 to earn extra perks. Over the years, the team has raised more than $2 million — that’s about 66% of the total raised this year by all teams: $3.2 million!

Thank you, too, for the many walkers who trekked 30 kms this year in honour of Barb’s 30th walk.  Barb has joined annual cancer walks in Montreal, Calgary, Halifax, Ottawa, Vancouver and Toronto to support Canada’s cancer care centres.
